This track is one of the most special to me on the album. It is dedicated to my late grandmother, Mary Jean McKay, or Nana as I called her. She was truly a great lady, and I miss her dearly. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease years ago, and passed only years later. The full effect of her being gone didn't become clear to me until last summer/fall. I just remember thinking about her out of the blue, and writing these lyrics effortlessly. The words just spilled out of me without any filter. It was nice to be able to think of her and remember her in the way that I did. RIP Nana, I miss you.
