Originally, this album was supposed to be half normal/half conceptual, and the way I could reflect that was through two transitional songs halfway through the album. This was the first one. I tried to make it a smooth flow from 'We Were Born' with the backwards piano in the intro, along with not carrying the sound too far from the previous track, which I believe I succeeded in. It only took around 2 hours to get the beef of it recorded and mixed.
