This was the song intended to introduce the conceptual side of the album. I wanted it to be a dark contrast from 'Side A', showing the differences between side one and side two. The dirty, phased Rhodes in the intro was my idea of a good way to do that. The tune being carried by the Rhodes was actually based off of another song I had recorded on a single track recorder nearly a year before. I had worked up a bass-line and a beat pretty quick after recording the Rhodes track. From there on out, it was just mixing and editing until I found the dark groove I wanted.
